Reflections is a colorful and textural exploration of memories and emotions. In bright whirls of color’ Tyler invites the viewers to observe and listen to the paintings, to find the message within. Each work of art is created with a specific intention in mind:passion, grief, love, hope. Each work is created intuitively, in a meditative process of identifying an emotion and selecting colors that align with that emotion. Liv transforms the swirling world of their emotions into evocative paintings. To Tyler each color has a distinct emotion tied to it and when they come together they create their own language. Tyler sees abstraction as a language of the subconscious that they often struggle to express in words.
Through layered paint and flowing drips, this series of artworks takes you through a journey of healing and self-discovery.
